Agra Itinerary for 3 days
Here's a sample 3-day itinerary for Agra, India:
Day 1:
- Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise (early morning) to beat the crowds and experience the beauty of the monument in peace.
- Have breakfast and then head to the Agra Fort, which is located just 2 kilometers from the Taj Mahal.
- In the evening, head to the Mehtab Bagh, a moonlight garden that offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal across the river.
Day 2:
- Visit the Baby Taj or Itmad-ud-Daula, a mausoleum made for Mirza Ghiyas Beg and considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal in terms of its architectural style.
- After visiting the Baby Taj, head to the Ram Bagh, a Mughal garden famous for its beautiful scenery.
- In the evening, explore the local bazaars and taste some of the local street food.
Day 3:
- Head to the Fatehpur Sikri, a ruined city that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.
- After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, visit the Sikandra, the tomb of Akbar the Great.
- Before departing Agra, visit the Dayal Bagh, a beautiful temple dedicated to Radha Soami.
