Here's a sample 4-day itinerary for Agra, India:
Day 1:
- Arrive in Agra and check into your hotel.
- Visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, at sunset.
- Enjoy a traditional Indian dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2:
- Visit the Agra Fort, a historic fortification located on the right bank of the Yamuna River.
- Explore the Itimad-ud-Daula's Tomb, also known as the "Baby Taj."
- Shop for souvenirs and traditional handicrafts at the local bazaar.
Day 3:
- Take a day trip to the Fatehpur Sikri, a ruined city that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.
- Visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world, located in Fatehpur Sikri.
- Return to Agra and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 4:
- Visit the Mehtab Bagh, a serene garden located on the banks of the Yamuna River with views of the Taj Mahal.
- Visit the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India.
- Return to your hotel and pack your bags.
